VIEW1 Technology featured on "The Doctors"

The Doctors

Global Care Quest’s VIEW1™ technology was seen in millions of homes across the country on October 10, 2011. “The Doctors,” the syndicated talk show that highlights on-set medical procedures and the latest scientific advances aired a segment about a gentleman with an extraordinary case of amnesia. Two VIEW1™ products appeared. The ImageStation™ was showcased as an advanced reference tool now available specifically for surgeons. The Clinical Command & Control™ dashboard was displayed on-set on the show’s “magic screen,” and utilized by the doctors to help explain the clinical side of this compelling human interest story.

GCQ™ introduces the surgeon ready VIEW1™ Image Station™

Global Care Quest, a Division of The KARL STORZ Endoscope Group, today announced the latest addition to the VIEW1™ suite of solutions, the Image Station™.

Until now, imaging solutions have been focused on the needs of radiologists. This translates into a lack of surgeon-focused features and workflow which is frustrating to many of surgeons!

The VIEW1™ suite of “surgeon ready” solutions, including Image Station™ and SurgeonConnect™ has been designed in collaboration with surgeons to enhance surgical workflow.

The goal of VIEW1 is nothing less than 100% support of surgeons’ needs – ranging from simply reading imaging discs to allowing the creation of a surgical departmental imaging infrastructure at a fraction of the cost of a full PACS system. Inexpensive, quick to install, and easy to use!

Beyond imaging, Global Care Quest offers a seamless upgrade path to include complete dashboard of clinical intelligence, called Clinical Command & Control™.

The VIEW1 Image Station is a surgeon ready, universal PACS reader/player that works with a variety of media types and input sources to provide virtually instant access to comprehensive study and series navigation. It can be deployed immediately on a simple standalone basis, or as part of a high speed network.

Images can now be immediately viewed in the office, clinic, and surgery suite --- even routed to the sterile field of the operating room. VIEW1 offers optional capabilities that allow the sharing of images with other clinicians plus integration with hospital PACS. The Portability Package includes iPads and a convenient web application for the iPhone.

GCQ’s VIEW1 suite provides inexpensive solutions to costly problems, improving efficiency and effectiveness for clinicians.
